Dr. Rebecca Cooper

Dr. Rebecca Cooper joined Durango Equine Veterinary Clinic in 2018 as an Intern. She is now an Associate Doctor at our clinic. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. During Veterinary School, Dr. Cooper was an active member of many clubs and fundraisers including her time as Vice President of the Theriogenology Club. Dr. Cooper’s interests include reproduction, neonatal care, lameness, and wound management.

Personal Life

Dr. Cooper has an Appendix Quarter Horse mare who she rides Hunter/Jumpers and two long-haired dachshunds. When she is not at work, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with her animals and friends, and relaxing with a big cup of coffee.
