Dr. Sicilia Grady

Dr. Grady joined Durango Equine Veterinary Clinic in 2019 as an Associate Veterinarian. She was born and raised in Mexico. Previously, she was an intern at Durango Equine, but then went on to receive her PhD and complete a large animal theriogenology (reproduction) residency.

Experience

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis and a Master of Science at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Grady obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University where she spent a significant amount of time performing extracurricular work in advanced assisted reproductive techniques with Dr. Elaine Carnevale at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory.

Dr. Grady then completed an internship at Durango Equine Veterinary Clinic followed by a PhD in Reproductive Physiology at Texas A&M University conducting research with Dr. Katrin Hinrichs on the effects of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells on equine ovarian function and gene expression.

Dr. Grady completed a large animal theriogenology (reproduction) residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center and is now a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists.
